Movie Night 2008

This year, Net Impact hosted Movie Night 2008. Movie night takes place the night before MBA Day, an all day event hosted by the school to welcome next year’s incoming prospective students to our campus, the program, and their future classmates. Movie Night welcomes prospective students and their significant others to learn about our program, Net Impact, and students in a relaxed setting with dinner and a movie.

After an hour of getting to know each other, we began showing selected clips from this year’s movie: “The Corporation.” After a short viewing, Prof. Barber, a professor of Finance at the GSM, led a discussion about the movie. This helped us all bring the gap between the lessons of the movie and its relevance to an MBA education.

Turnout from incoming students and current students was great! A big thank you goes out to everyone who came out and helped support the event.
