Date/Day: May 6, 2009, Wednesday When: 6:30pm Where: Davis Farmer’s Market Who: All What: 'Support Our Local Farmers': Pre-Event to NI Potluck: Come shop for produce for the following night’s Local Foods Potluck, or just stop by for dinner on the lawn. Bring a picnic, or pick up dinner from one of the prepared food vendors. We’ll gather on the lawn from 6:30 until dark. She’ll help kick off a lively discussion about providing sustainable food in Davis. Her commitment to local fresh food is demonstrated in her decision to source her restaurant’s ingredients locally and buys organic whenever possible. Please bring your own beverage and a potluck dish to share, farmers market ingredients encouraged! A dish from The Farmer's Kitchen will also be provided.
