Environmental Law Society

For JD/MBA candidates, UC Davis houses an Environmental Law Society (ELS) which provides a forum for environmental information and networking. The members attend community events, regional conferences, and discuss pending legislation. Students network with the professional community for support, guidance, and information about the environmental practice arena and are encouraged to explore their interests in a variety of environmental and natural resource issues. To further sculpt student interests, ELS hosts an annual Environmental Law Symposium with which to bring speakers and practitioners to discuss current areas of law.

Thanks to Symposium Chair - and NI member - Deanna Gay, Davis Net Impact was a co-sponsor of the 2007 Symposium that focused on California's approach to climate change.
