Day on the Job (DOJ)

Working closely with other Northern California chapters such as Haas, USF, and Presidio, we help to organize and participate in career treks to organizations that integrate social and environmental values into their mission and operations. These DOJ visits typically last a few hours, are a mix of tours and informational discussions, and result in knowledge growth about the industry, contacts for potential internships and/or careers, and a sense for what daily life is like working for the organization. Internship and career discussions, tips, and contacts frequently result.

Recent DOJ organizations have included Business for Social Responsibility, TransFair USA, Genentech, PowerLight, Clif Bar, and SMUD.
